great location, but pet friendly not for everyone
Long weekend get away. Great location for exploring St Louis, Under remodel , but not an issue on the weekend. Bed was a little too firm for our liking, but had a corner room and quiet. Downside is it’s pet friendly and with issues breathing, was hard to avoid some of the pet dander….might have to re think our next stay.

Cold in room
We arrived during the first cold spell of the season with St Louis temperatures in the 30s and the heat in our room did not work. The Thanksgiving holiday complicated efforts to get the system looked at and eventually we had to be moved to a different room after three cold nights. Our deluxe room did not have a comforter nor blanket, which made the chilly nights even more difficult. Staff was very apologetic and comped us one night.

Mixed reviews. Upon arrival the front desk person had a very MEH demeanor and when I came back to ask her for a new room because the TV didn't work, she informed me that you have to unplug and replug the TV. She reluctantly asked if I wanted her to come and do it and I said no (clearly she didnt want to). IF YOUR HOTEL'S EQUIPMENT DOESN'T WORK TO THE POINT THAT YOU KNOW THE IDIOSYNCRASIES AND HOW TO GET IT TO WORK, JUST REPLACE IT! Telling a guest basically, "Oh you just have to slap the back of it 5 times, and then it'll work " is not a good look. It wasnt exactly easy to do since the plug was behind a very heavy piece of furniture and it was difficult to get it unplugged. Also, when I arrived it was late. The front door was locked and I had to buzz them and tell them the name on my rezy in order to enter the hotel. That was sign it wasnt a great neighborhood. Fortunately it was only a one night stay so it did the job but I wouldnt stay there again more than likely.
