Shower was clean, and bed was clean and very comfortable. Staff were nice. The room itself was not very clean- items (lamps, nightstands) were dusty or had spray or water marks that were never wiped or cleaned. Carpet needed to be vacuumed. Bathroom tissue holder was empty (not a big deal). The bathroom had a fan (which is a plus as so many hotels don’t). Unfortunately the fan sounded like a plane engine ready to take off. The lights around the bathroom mirror were so dim they may as well not have even been there. The hallway carpet smelled mildew-y.

It was the perfect spot for the event we were going to. It was close to I55 and easy to find. The bed and pillows were on the soft side, but still got a good night sleep. I didn’t eat the breakfast but I stopped by and it looked good. I was satisfied with my stay.

Just ok
The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was subpar. The eggs were cold and soggy, bacon was undercooked, sausage was cold, the gravy was runny. It was free, so you can’t really complain. I have stayed at other Fairfield properties where the breakfast was much better. The room itself was mostly clean. There was a random sock from a prior guest in the corner, the thermostat was broken, but the room was a good temperature. Overall, the stay was ok because the staff was friendly, but I will try a different property the next time I visit.
