Cheap, and it shows
I picked this hotel because it was cheap and I was only in town for two days, and boy did the quality of the cheapness show. Made me put down a $100 'damage deposit' that I may or may not see refunded within 3-5 days. Didn't accept cash, you could only use cards attached to a bank. Paint chunks missing in walls, damaged and worn kitchenette, damage in bathroom before I even checked in. AC unit didn't work correctly. Front staff is rude and wouldn't give me an extra pillow when I asked for my fiance. The icing on the cake is that staff managed to lock themselves out when I went to go check out. So I ended up handing the staff my cards outside of the hotel and left. Lesson learned: you get what you pay. Next time I'll splurge for something a little more.
