There was mold in the bathroom. The toilet leaked water from the back. There was toothpaste used in an attempt to cover up holes on the bathroom wall above the towel rack. There was an emergency phone on the bathroom wall that did not work.
When housekeeping did the room they did not sweep up the dead crickets that got into our room because the entrance door had a huge gap at the bottom. So I also can assume that the floor was not mopped either.
The phone in the main area of the room by the bed also did not work.
The mini fridge had not been thawed and cleaned in a while as there was also black coloured mold on some of the shelves and there was so much built up ice from improper cleaning that it took up at least half of the entire mini fridge from back to front. Because of this all the food I had in the fridge had spoiled.
There was a hole in the wall by the T.V. that had a piece of toilet paper stuffed into it, I do not know if you could see into the next room as I did not touch the toilet paper to check.
I left several days before my scheduled check out date and was very unhappy with my stay.
The front desk worked said he had attempted to contact me through hotels.com on the day that I left. His suggestion to make me stay was to switch my room.
This room should have not been an option in the first place, it was disgusting and unprofessional. I stayed here with my infant daughter and am never going to be booking at this hotel ever again. Zero stars.
