We had a very pleasant stay at Doubletree although it was for 1-night only. Upon arrival at the hotel we received a free upgrade to a Deluxe King Suite. The room is spacious, well furnished and spotless. There is a good spread of international and local dishes for breakfast.The service staff are excellent. From the DoubleTree Hotel, it takes about 10 minutes on foot to BG Junction Mall and about 15 minutes to Tunjungan Plaza. However, you need to cross busy roads, so walking can be a bit challenging.

4:30AM prayer broadcasts daily

There is a mosque nearby the hotel that broadcasts prayers at 4:30am every morning at a volume that waked us up 3 out of 3 nights here. The sound insulation definitely needs some upgrade here, or else it would ruin your sleeps or possibly your entire trip due to sleep deprivation.

Right in the middle of Tunjungan. Nice breakfast. But the hotel needs to provide new sheets. The sheets aren’t clean because it is old and full of blotches from stain that could not be bleached any longer. Aside from the sheets, everything is good.

This is the place!

This place is impeccable!! I honestly didn’t leave the hotel much during my short stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is so professional and kind, the buffet style breakfast was great, and the gym facilities were really nice to have. There’s a shopping center walking distance and restaurants on the way. I would definitely stay here again!!
