I had a comfortable stay for a quick overnight on a road trip. The room was pretty clean. The hotel is a little dated, but it was more than comfortable enough for the price and for the short stay. I like that my pet was free, as other hotels in the area charge a lot, from what I've seen.
While it was clean, something in the air in the room was making my daughter and I itchy for a while after we got there. Other than that, we had a good stay.
The lady working check-in during the late evening could use some training in customer service skills, though. She barely spoke to me during the process. She literally just looked at me, and I had to say I was checking in and give my name. Then all she said was "ID." She proceeded to check me in without really saying anything. She put the paper in front of me to fill out without giving any instructions or anything. Then she just handed me the key. I had to ask where the room was, and she barely explained it. I pretty much had to look at the map on the counter and figure it out myself. She never greeted me, said thank you, or anything like that.
