Stayed here for a Local Convention

This placed served my purposes perfectly - There were a few things off: Only one parking space, only one access card, the smell of smoke, and the window view of a homeless park HOWEVER, I walked everywhere I needed for the week: Convention center, 7-11, etc. They had a nice pool and workout center. I couldn't beat the price either...

Clean but unwelcoming stay

The apartment had plenty of amenities (kitchen, washer and dryer) but felt a bit like sleeping in a warehouse or a jail, a fully concrete and austere setting, with nearly unsleepable mattresses, hard, could feel spring through them in both the main room, and especially the front room pull out bed.

Complicated, but good location.

I found the security and personal information checks before getting an entry code over the top and time consuming. The entry system without any person available was a concern for me. The apartment was spartan, no carpets, very industrial decor. Location was great, but I wouldn't book again.

Lock box outside the property was broken. Didn’t know this until halfway through my stay. So anyone could have came in and taken my stuff and they wanted me to leave the key in the lockbox even if I was in the property. Found that very unnerving.

There was nobody at the building to help with checking in & I had a glitch with my pay pal account and they had no other way to pay for the deposit. Lucky my friend was able to work through the pay pal glitch and after an hour and a half, I was able to check in. After getting in, the place looked like a set from a horror film. The room itself was nice enough except for a couple of holes in the drywall.

We thought this property would match our family's needs for a spring break trip. Its location is great, in the downtown area. And looked like it would accommodate us well. We arrived to find a very unfortunate sight of a couch and loveseat. We took photos and tried to call all available numbers to the property to no avail. Not one answered call for two days straight that we tried. The couches and chairs provided were in awful condition. The place was spacious but dirty. Beds in our unit were the worst. We also had a view of a large population of homeless people. Besides the valet and location of the building, nothing else was impressive of this particular stay.

I never was able to talk directly to property management. It was very frustrating. The floors were not mopped and there were bugs in the apartment- i think roaches so I left the lights on in the bathroom. My stay could have been perfect despite this had they responded to my emails. Phone number did not work.

Bad stay.

It was bad. I constantly emailed and called the numbers about my problems nobody never responded. I went to the office. I have videos in pictures. The stay wasn’t right I wasn’t able to watch tv at all it was no remote control. It was holes in the wall I was only given one face towel I had to buy detergent to re wash the towels just to take proper showers. The place wasn’t worth my money that I worked hard for I didn’t enjoy my stay at all

Wouldn’t recommend.

It absolutely reeks of cigarette smoke, and one of the guest are extremely allergic to cigarette smoke. The room is dirty. Things were broken and out of place. The lockbox was already unlocked when we arrived, so we felt unsafe. I’ve called SEVERAL times today, and I’ve been unable to reach anyone. We were in the area for work. We’ve got in contact with hotel.com and they can’t get in contact with the host either. We have to drive almost two hours back home because we have nowhere to stay. Hotels.com wouldn’t even move us to another room because they couldn’t get in contact with the host, and they wouldn’t move us to another hotel.

Check-in process is broken. Building looks vacant: no signage. Had to pay PayPal 300 deposit to enter building. Still awaiting refund almost two weeks later. Dirty linens from prior guests still in entryway of room. No toiletries. Filthy rooms. Tried calling property manager several times with no answer. Noxious rubber tire smell in room which was concerning for health issues. The day we checked out there was an environmental cleanup company working on the same floor as our room. Homeless person living under back stairwell. Overall one of the most horrible experiences we've had. Checked out after one night to switch hotels.
