It was great time to stay in this hotel in Sapporo. First of all, Daiyokujo was great to relax everyday. Covenience store is close to hotel and the subway station is also close. Although main underground street is not connected to the station, it’s close to this hotel. Airport limo station is also close. It’s not that crowded but still close to the main street. Staffs were also kind. Thanks

Excellent service by everyone that attended to us, from check in, restaurant, parking and all. Good location, minutes from Nakajima Park and walkable to Odori Park and other attractions. Public bath has crowd status available from room (TV). Limited parking but hotel has affiliated parking nearby. Breakfast is good too. We had a great stay here.

Amazing Hotel Stay
This was one of the best stays I have had in Japan for a hotel. The overall friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was top notch - we had to get some help calling a few Japanese speaking businesses and they helped with the translation to make everything so smooth. It was unbelievably clean and the room is spacious and relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The staffs are helpful and the hotel room was clean daily if requested. Super convenient and close to train station. The city center is only two or three blocks away with plenty of food nearby. The only downside I would say would be the restaurant Cafe Contrail - the food is mediocre for the price they charge, not as much selection or was the food tasty.

Staffs were friendly even there was a language barrier but they tried their best to communicate with us. Room was decent but don’t expect plenty of space. Hotel was next to the main avenue leading to Sapporo station so it’s very vibrant at night, also close to shopping places and food plazas, many local restaurants that are tourists friendly. For laundry there was a coin laundry right behind the 7-11.

Onsen and parking are the worst parts
The parking costs 2000 yen per day, but it is for one-time use only. If you drive out within the same day, you need to pay 2000 yen again!!! I am an experienced onsen lover. I have tried onsen of many places in Japan over the past 25 years. And I have booked different hotels with onsen for this 10-days trip. The onsen in this hotel is extremely HOT and SMALL. I must warn everyone that the temperature of onsen water in this hotel is super hot, it is really unusual and not enjoyable. My family stayed here for 3 nights, tried onsen for the first 2 nights, but give up the last night though we are onsen lovers. There are 2 onsen pools for the lady spa, both are indoor. The lengths of the pools are about 5 meters and 2 meters respectively. They are really small, compared with other hotels. The worst thing is the super hot water! Some onsen users would jump out once their feet touch the water. Some kids would cry. My husband said men just sit at the pool side and had foot spa only, not the whole body. It is the first time for my family that onsen is not enjoyable. It is really disappointing.

We purposedly choose this hotel because of their toilet. The hot tub, shower, and toilet are all separated. Moreover, we needed a connecting room to be able to accomodate our family of 4. This hotel also located in a more quiet side of the city with just a minute walk from the airport bus stop so it is very convenient for airport transfers, however, it takes just a 5-minute walk to Susukino and with 2 convenience stores are right at both corners of the street. The room is fully equipped like any other standard Japanese hotels but additionally they provide Nespresso machine that comes with 4 pods, 3 flavours, that get refilled everyday. All doors and cabinets are soft-close swing, no noise when closing. The bathroom amenities are also get refilled on a daily basis and their DHC skin care set is phenomenal. There is a vending machine, ice machine, and a microwave on 3rd floor. Onsen on the 2nd floor with real time occupancy status check on your in-room TV. However, the only downside for our stay is our room is on a lower floor facing the nearby hotel. Around 6:30am there are a lot of noises from nearby hotel: noises from truck loading and unloading stuff, also noises from the trash truck on the trash collecting day, and noises from roaring engine of the tour bus standing by in front of the nearby hotel. These happen in the early morning almost everyday. Very annoying and ruining our sleep.
