Everything was great. Need more beach chairs for guests. To many guests get them early then leave beach leaving nothing for the rest of us who sleep in a bit. Should have a sit down breakfast. Paper thin walls at gothic house. Exceptionally clean though.

Location was great, beach chairs/umbrella service and prime seating area with bar and food right there along with views from room were the best thing about this place. Climbing 4 flights of stairs to get to my room in 90 degrees with no ac on first floor or in hallways/stairways was the worst. And the room was tight, felt a little closed in.

Charming, but…

Third visit because the location is key, in town with on-site restaurant and beach access. It’s an old building- refurbished with charm, but note that it kept its slanted floors and thin walls. This visit, we noticed repairs were needed throughout- our room in particular had several holes in walls from past shelving. Service was challenging this time- front desk was efficient and friendly, but housekeeping skipped our room and several of us waited fifteen minutes for lobby coffee while the server chatted on the phone nearby. For these prices, one might expect more attention to detail and service, but hopefully these things will be addressed.

We liked the location, we liked the parking. The room with a king bed was on 2nd floor and had very little floor space to walk around. The bathroom was supertight, very little floor space between pedestal sink, toilet and shower stall. We also had very noisy neighbors above us. On-facility restaurant and beach were great conveniences.

Loved our stay, the property is in a great location and really enjoyed having access to the beach as well as a pool down the street. Check-in was a little bumpy as we stood at the desk for over 10mins before staff appeared to help but otherwise ALL staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We also did not realize our room was not in the main building but down the road which at first we did not really like but it turned out fine and maybe even better! We definitely enjoyed the privacy of the guest house we stayed in and would not of gotten this in the main hotel. Plenty of parking. The room could have been cleaner as there was a dirty cotton round with makeup on it on the floor in the bathroom but things happen. Will definitely be returning!

I love Lark Hotels - this one in particular was absolutely incredible. Having coffee right down stairs with such friendly staff [shout to Sarah & Austin] was a great way to start off the morning. The patio outback was amazing to sit and enjoy after the beach!

The location is perfect!!! Easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Gorgeous views of the ocean! If you stay facing Dodge Street, the traffic noise is a bit loud. Overall, it is a fabulous place to stay.

It's a really lovely hotel in a perfect location. The staff is really nice. There is a coffee bar and restaurant on site. I would absolutely stay there again. A little detail that makes a huge difference is the black washcloth in the bathroom for female face washing. It is such a simple thing, but oh so clever! Why do other hotels not do the same? Best views of the Block

The hotel has one of the best locations on the Block. The rooms were spacious although a funky sink combination made it difficult to use the sink. Other than that, it was a great stay. Views of the ferry and town beach can;t be beat and they have one of the best bars on the island on the 1st floor
