Quick trip to Boston to say happy birthday to my daughter. I picked Newbury because of proximity to shopping - so happy I did. It's meticulously maintained, really comfortably designed rooms - with everything you need: work space, dress space, lounge space, sleep space - bathroom with privacy. And that wasn't even a suite.

The Best!!!!
This place is never a disappointment. This is my go to hotel in Boston. The rooms are beautiful. Contessa is lovely. The Street Bar is impeccable old school fabulous Boston.

By far, this hotel was the worst hotel I have experienced in my entire life. Most of the staff are so unkind and arrogant, the concierge told me to go to the restaurant myself to confirm the reservation because he does not have a "phone" - honestly it is a problem if you don't have a phone while your job is a concierge and secondly, I don't care how you manage to confirm my booking - just do it because it is your job. The front desk also did not inform of their facilities when check-in so I had to discover they had a nice lounge for hotel guest with complimentary coffee and bakery on OUR LAST DAY thanks to the bell boy. Also they skipped housekeeping one day and did not apologize for it. So thanks Newbury hotel for the worst hospitality - I will never be coming back. You guys do not deserve five stars at best.

Beautiful room with nice amenities. Staff very friendly. We enjoyed the first floor bar for drinks and the rooftop restaurant for dinner.
