The room was okay. There was an odor that smelled like car freshner that was a bit disturbing. We came in as a part of a group. There was no good outside area we could sit comfortably, enjoy a beer or cocktail and for those of us that do, smoke a cigar. An area off the pool area would have been conducive for that. Our group spent a lot of time in the lobby area. It had a TV but the cable option the hotel had did not include local channels nor ESPN so we could not gather there and enjoy the Saturday afternoon game. We would have preferred the hotel for gathering but did go into the downtown area and found a sports bar. As older Americans, again, we would have preferred the area in the hotel lobby. There was a new trainee left on the desk. I asked if on Sunday I could have locked my bags in an area at the motel as our plane did not leave until late in the afternoon. His answer was "I don't know." "Ask tomorrow the people at the front desk." I get that he was new, but he could have called his manager. Overall it was a pleasant visit, and the room was clean. Just a lot of little things that add up.
