No towels or toilet paper in room. The main lobby door had a notice from city officials citing "unsanitary conditions".

It was decently priced for the stay. The hostess was kind, accommodating, and professional. The only real complaint I have is that the room reeked of cigarette smoke, and that says a lot for someone who smokes daily. The humidity mixed with the cigarette smoke made it tough to relax and sleep. Other notables were: The recliner is damaged and looks like it could fall apart with the wrong movement TV did not respond to the power button on the remote. AC worked really well. The room was very spacious. Shower head is very low, for a guy who is 6’2” tall it’s very inconvenient. Toilet flush handle broken and in need of repair. Appears as though it’s been that way for a while. The towel rack above the toilet looks like it’s been banged up quite a few times from someone trying to investigate the flusher and then banging the back of their head on the towel rack upon standing up straight. Had good hot water the first night, but barely warm water the next two. Also, the WiFi reception in the room was on-existent. I could hear aknots anything anyone said in the next room, and could feel and hear every movement from the folks in the room above. Looks like an old establishment with fresh paint, rather than spending any real money on updating / upgrading. But, the price was fair. I didn’t make any complaints in person and had not planned on doing so, but, having been given the opportunity through this email sent to me by the establishment, maybe this feedback helps someone out.

We booked online and wouldve found another place to stay if we hadnt gotten there so late. They had been cited for unsanitary conditions and posted the notice on the office door. Ill try to make this list short: filthy walkways, trash on the ground, shopping cart in breezeway, trash bags sitting by trash cans, burns on the filthy tub, no towels or remote in the room, no vending machines or working ice machine, stopped up sink and they didn't even sell bottled water at the desk.... amongst other cleaniness issues inside the rooom. However the front desk attendant was very friendly. Cannot upload photos at the moment..

First off when checking in the clerk was nice, but the lobby smelled like cigarettes. There was a note on the front door that said unsanitary property. I asked about it and the clerk said that it was just because they need to upgrade their property. I got the keys and as we drove around to the room there were people hanging out and drinking beer outside of their rooms. When we opened the door the room stunk so bad of smoke and just filth. When we turned the light on roaches took off running. The bath tub had bugs in it and paint coming off the walls. Shower dripping, towels looked dirty. I wouldn’t even let my son get on the bed. Looked like there was bugs everywhere. I got my family back in the vehicle and went back to the front desk. I got on the phone with hotels.com and got my money back. Please don’t stay at this hotel it’s terrible.

There were roaches in the room. Hot water took 40 minutes to heat up. The lamps in the room were missing plug to plug in outlet. Towels provided were not clean.

Orange health code violation on the front door for a reason! In room #1 the lightbulbs were missing from the main room (all of them), no remote for the television, broken refrigerator that leaked water all over the place when turned on, no trash can, dirty comforter and carpets, paint splattered all over the bathroom floor, fixtures covered in paint, filthy behind the refrigerator when they pulled it out, broken insecure steps on the stairwell and it smelled like urine on the stairwell to get to the room. Room #2 Keys did not work so we could not get in until 10 pm. When we got in, there were missing light bulbs, bugs in the room, and the toilet doesn’t flush/fill with water.

I don’t require alot from a hotel. The facility and rooms must be clean, have hot showers, wifi, working ice machine, parking, basic necessities. I generally like to stay at La Quinta, but this one was totally unacceptable. I was given a room and the first thing that hit me was the strong cigarette smoke smell and further investigation revealed a bag of trash and cigarette package in the closet. The front desk attendant agreed this was unacceptable and gave me another room. It did not smell like cigarette smoke but was filthy, large clump of hair in the tub drain preventing the water from draining. I have profound bilateral hearing impairment but the air conditioning unit was so loud it made it difficult to sleep. I believe there is a leadership problem at this particular hotel when I get two rooms that are dirty. Manager should be fired.
