Not safe for anyone especially woman

DO NOT STAY HERE AS A FEMALE AND DEFINITELY ALONE. When I initially drove up with my friend near the entrance men started to surround my car on phones. I’m unsure who they were waiting for but my friend and I very cautiously got out of the vehicle and went to check in at the front desk. The front desk employee is very friendly and polite, the lobby area is nice. As my friend and I went back to my car to grab our stuff the men opened their door on phones again but we strayed away from them, got our stuff and went through the entrance into the elevator to the second floor. As we got out of the elevator another man started to follow us and speak to us almost all the way to our room, we picked the speed to get in the room and lock ourselves in. The room did not look like the pictures and smelled heavily of cigarettes. We could barely breathe but I was still trying to convince myself it was only for a night and it was cheap. As my friend and I went to leave for our plans, the men once again came out of their rooms as they saw us walk to my car. My friend and I got in the car and immediately knew we could not stay here. We felt incredibly unsafe. From arrival to the feeling of we need to get out of there for our safety wasn’t more than 15 minutes. I moved my car to the back where the men wouldn’t see us, got our stuff then went to the front desk to check out and explained to the very nice front desk employee our concerns. She asked if the men had done anything physically to us and

Do not be deceived by the pictures.

Although the pictures make this appear to be a well-maintained hotel, it is not. The elevator being broken when we arrived was the least of our issues but a precursor to things to come. Upon arrival, we discovered that the mattresses were stained and dirty. We ended up sleeping on top of the comforters using our blankets. We were forced to rotate out using the TV and charging our electronic devices, as we only had two working plugs in the room. While we charged our phones, we decided to go for a swim, only to discover a pool that looked like it hadn't been shocked adequately since it opened for the season. Lastly, and by far the worst part, the carpet in the room was disgusting. Everyone in our party refused to walk around barefoot as the carpet felt like you were wearing crusty, sweaty socks when you stepped on it. We had to resort to requesting and laying down additional towels so we could walk around after a shower to get dressed and still feel clean. We will not be staying here again, and I have filed a complaint with Wyndham, as this is by far the worst representation of the Wyndham brand I have ever seen.

Very Poor Shape

Our first room wasn't ready at all. Things were pulled away from the wall...trash on the floor. The sink faucet wasn't fastened down. There were full trash bags laying in hallways and outdoor walkways.

Never again!

The condition of the place was incredibly run-down. Carpet felt sticky and looked stained. Paint was peeling. The safety latch on the door was broken. The people were great, but it just felt sketchy!

Couldn't even give us a key

No electricity, no hot shower, front desk couldn't give us a key to our room. "Power is supposed to be on by 9pm" Yet they were still open. Couldn't give me a refund as prepaid through hotels dot com. We had chosen this hotel as it was close to the highway and our dog was with us, pet friendly. We stayed less than 2 hours.

No check in actually ever happened - twice

I didn't get to check in AT ALL. There was a power outage due to a storm the previous night. I had two nights reserved and ended up at THE WORST motel I've ever stayed in as a result. When I tried to check in the 2nd day the power was still off.

Towel, poop, and lies.

As we entered the hotel to check in. A guest was yelling at the person behind the counter because they had no towels in their room. A person cut in line and said that their toilet was overflowing and needed a new room. Then it was our turn to check in. We booked a room with a jacuzzi. They informed us that that room is not available. We canceled our stay and moved to the hotel next door. These are just the bullets of each incident that could be expanded into a micro essay. Felt Unsafe, Unclean and such. Later that night we ran into someone that used to work there and the apparently the homeless break in and steal the towels..

Not good at all.

The room had no phone, no hairdryer, or coffee maker or coffee supplies. It did have some coffee cups on the coffee table. The hallways to the rooms were dark and dirty. The furniture was all stained and dirty. The bed was the only clean spot in the room. I have had mixed stays at other Baymont hotels, but this place was bad. It was after 11 pm when I left the hospital and just needed to lay down.
Hot tub jets looked dirty and no stopper for the drain.
Sofa was torn, faded, and dirty.

Be careful

I made a reservation, the hotel was over booked, I drove 3 hours to find out it was overbooked. No calls or communication from their end. The next cheapest hotel was $350 for the night. All I got from the front desk was “don’t know what to tell ya” While I was trying to figure something out and looking for recommendations the front seat was too worried about talking to her friends.

Sleeping in your car is safer and more comfortable

I would love to leave a negative review for this place, but words cannot do any worse than what has already been done to it. If I needed a physical geographical location to serve as a descriptive analog for the mere concept of unfathomable depression and despair, this place would work perfectly. I booked a three night stay and could only tolerate the first night before promptly checking out early the following morning.
