I’m not sure how the rooms were because I was unable to stay. The hotel requires guests to pay a $150 deposit that can only be done with a credit card. The woman at the front desk was apologetic and I get it, it’s not her policy, but it’s not advertised on this site or on theirs. Plus it’s ridiculous that it can’t just be paid with a debit card. I had to drive over an hour to get home then go to work in the morning.
Furthermore I’m having a hell of a time getting a refund for my room because I was charged by hotels.ca after booking the room even though I was told when booking the room I wouldn’t be charged. I tried to cancel the booking, but was told it’s not possible because check in had passed. Fine, tried to get some help with customer service and they can’t find my booking with my name or phone number. I had to search for 15 minutes to find a number to call customer support but of course no one can find my phone number. I can’t find a confirmation email and I can only talk to customer service if I have a confirmation number.
So now unless I get this fixed and refunded I’m out $118. I’m not happy with how this booking site is run.

Good stay except for a few small things
Everything great except for three small things. One—the mini fridge was too cold and was freezing things. Two—- one of my pet peeves from many hotels— the plug did not work in the bathroom sink which makes it difficult to shave or wash your face. Three—the hot and cold symbols were reversed on the shower faucet so my wife almost scalded herself when she tried to take a shower. But the bed was good, the room was clean, and it was quiet.

Great stay but update needed.
Room was comfortable and found in another off shoot of the hotel. Lobby and carpets are tired and beat up a bit. Would be great to see TILE or washed glazed cement to update if carpet to expensive. Cleaner especially with pool and allergens these days. Having Dennys linked to hotel was convenient..., providing clients a discount would be another PLUS for repeat business.

Caused PAIN to my elderly mother
What a nightmare this was for my disabled mother. They had no elevation and put us in the basement without saying anything about that not being assessable for someone who can’t take stairs. She had to take two flights of steps to get to the room which caused her nerve pain to flair up and her to have troubles sleeping.
It was a getaway for her 70th birthday and this really put a damper on things. Not to mention even if you can take stairs, who wants to tug suitcases up and down stairs.
Not me.
The man who checked us in tried to find a different room but none were available. I will see he was kind and appeared to feel genuinely concerned for my mom as she struggled and did take her bags.
He said he would also let the manager know.
The next morning someone who appeared to be the manage and another clerk were at the front desk at check out. When the lady asked how the stay was and I said terrible and explain why the lady said sorry but without conviction but the man in the suit just looked at me and I think played dumb. I feel like he already knew the story.
What’s the point of asking that question if you don’t care when someone has a horrible time.
My mother was in extra pain for 3 days.
And I also didn’t get to sleep until 4am helping her.
Very disappointed and do not recommend because if they can miss this who knows what else they miss.

Do not stay here
Terrible hotel with some really nasty rooms. Anything is the basement is cold, musty and damp. 250 per night and look at how dirty the windows are. Would not recommend

Gaglardi's can do better
$280/night for a subterranean room with broken cabinetry a cheap TV and 1990's cable TV package with 13 channels. Insufficient parking onsite. Band-Aids floating in the pool which is small, old and gross. Gym is a joke. Gaglardi's are sure milking it.
