Our go to

It is not the nicest, nor in the nicest part of town but it’s convenient to where we like to go, shares a parking lot with the very best Denny’s, and the staff is welcoming. It’s our go to place to stay when in Kamloops.

Clean but very outdated and under supplied

In the first room that we were assigned the fridge was not working at all so we asked for another room. It was nice and clean but there was only 1 small bar of soap in the room. 1 roll of toilet paper not even mounted on the spool. As for eco, the rooms are very out dated with the old toilets with the 5 gallon tank. The windows are single pane only so the sound and heat come right through. The drip coffeemaker is in a very awkward spot so it has to be pulled almost off the small shelf to add water and coffee. All in all it served our purpose but won’t be back. I’m sure in Kamloops you can get a better room for $150. a night. As for the outside entrance, there were hundreds of cigarette butts all over the place and no butt dispenser in sight. Pretty gross!

Our stay was good. The hotel is dated and small but our stay was very quiet. Hardly any noise. The bathroom is very small not a lot of space. It was a great value hotel for what we needed it for.

Only thing good was staff being polite. The chair in my room had multiple stains-it needs to be removed ASAP. The curtains had a big rip. The shower curtain rod was drooping so the shower curtain kept falling to the middle. The tub was plugged. In general it all needs a huge cleaning and renos.

Everything was ok. That we would be a bit more for the amount we paid $165. Bathroom very small and room very small. No elevator so had to carry luggage for myself and two kids up the stairs. But it was clean. It was convenient to have Denny's right there to eat. Next time I would definitely pay the extra amount to stay at a different Hotel that offers queen size beds, breakfast and elevator. I think it would have been $40 more but totally worth it.
