We did not get our original reservations.
We had reserved two double-bed rooms and arrived at our scheduled check-in time of 3:00 p.m. However, our rooms were not ready upon arrival. My mother accepted a single-bed room, and I informed the front desk that we would return later since our reservation was specifically for a double-bed room.
When we returned after 10:00 p.m. to check in, the night clerk informed me that the original clerk had changed my reservation to a single-bed room. As a result, my family was forced to split into two single-bed rooms. This was not ideal, especially since we were traveling with children, and it defeated the purpose of booking in advance to ensure proper accommodations.
