8/10 Very good

Room was very comfortable. Only 4 stars as staff in restaurant really need chasing- they do tend to forget about you in between courses! Third time now - Shame as food is good. Will continue staying here when needed as it’s good value.

8/10 Very good

This is quite a functional sort of place but the staff were very friendly and amenable and the room was large by modern hotel standards.
Gavin, 1-night trip

Clean . quiet . Good food

One night stay for work - Ate in the connected pub , bit of a wait but it was a busy saturday night but the food was spot on. Well presented and lots of flavour. Room was clean , spacious and quiet. Just what we needed.

Wendy, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Parking aplenty. Check in smooth Room was nice and clean.plenty of amenities. Room was cold but unable to put heating on. Room was warm at night though. Soap dispensers were a bit old fashioned. Bed a bit to firm for us.

Talarday Stay

Room clean but decor ‘tired’. Toilet roll holder not securely attached to wall. Main light in bathroom not working. Unable to securely lock room door once inside. Bar closed at 10, despite being told it was open until 11. Ample parking and close to A55.
Peter, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good location for visiting family. Room clean. Good price. Easy check in but no one around when checking out. Rang bell so left room card on desk. Breakfast ok. No orange juice or white bread and no staff to ask. Would stay again as good price and out of way if heavy tourist area.
Tracy, 1-night trip

Short stay

Room was good. Service was ok but not enough staff. Evening meal (mixed grill) was ok at best. Breakfast, (continental ) was missing many items. Big fried breakfast was missing items. Coffee machine was problematic. Ate elswhere after 1st night.
Timothy, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Stayed for a funeral but regretted it as soon as I realised I wasn’t really welcome
David, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Stay here on a regular basis when visiting family in the area. Always clean and comfortable, in a convenient location. Great value and friendly staff, what more do you need.
dave, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Could do with 2 chairs in the lidge
Stephen, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Poor restaurant service.

Room was large but a bit dated, functional. The evening meal was very disappointing- the service was terrible. No one came to ask if our food was ok, we were forgotten about completely and by the time we asked for service to order dessert, we were told the kitchen was closed! Loss for them. Wouldn’t eat here again if there were other choices.
Karen, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great place to stay, good location, friendly staff,, and clean , comfortable rooms at reasonable prices.
dave, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was clean. Staff were helpful but feel there was not enough staff for breakfast to run smoothly. They ran out of white bread but this was resolved by someone going out and getting some. The only things avail were cereal, jams and juices, nothing else other than cooked food.
Susan, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Would stay again.

This is a really nice place to stay. Good value, close to lots of places in the area and with a good restaurant.
