Pleasant stay

It was a nice stay. The didn’t speak much English but we managed to communicate and the staff was super friendly. Very nice room and a fine breakfast. On the weekends, they have rooftop parties which you have to pay to attend. You could hear a bit of music, but I didn’t bother us that much. A pleasant stay :)

I stayed in this hotel 2 times this year 2013, first time front door by the River, the lock knot was broke, second time the enter door to my room also needs to be repaired because it wasn’t locked, I just opened without my key.

nice hotel in a bad area. Not really anything charming. Dramatically overcharged for laundry (to the point of being a complete rip off) and also told me specifically where to park my motorcycle and then I find out later it wasnt included and needed to pay a dramatic amount extra when leaving. everywhere deserves to make money, but this place just drains you for all they can

The hotel has two jacuzzis on the top floor with a bar. They close them at 4pm. I asked the front desk if it was ok for my wife and I to use it. It was 6pm. She said yes but unfortunately the woman who is in charge of that had left already. The bartender told me when I went upstairs that there is always someone on duty with the keys. Why Lie? If the answer was no then it’s no instead I got a bs excuse why not. Btw we were having cocktails in that bar for 3 hours and we were the only customers during that time. So much for the customer experience. I do not recommend

My friends and I stayed at the Faranda Cali on a friends trip to Colombia. The Faranda is located in the historical center of Cali, close to the boulevard and other historical sites, like Iglesia Ermita. Check in was relatively smooth and the hotel is relatively modern, given its surroundings. The area around the hotel is not the best, but they don't reflect the inside of the hotel. The general vibe of the hotel is Art Deco. I don't know what that has to do with Cali, Colombia, but that's what the Faranda was giving. There's one small elevator for the hotel, so if you don't mind stairs, I would advise using them at least to walk down. There's also a bar on the top floor that gets very loud when there's an event. So again, if this is a problem, request a room on the lower floor. I also wouldn't count getting any kind of workout in their "fitness room" which is a tiny room with ancient equipment and no ventilation. The bar staff also randomly come and go, so if you go to get a drink at 8:00 p.m. there may or may not be a bar tender at the bar in the lobby which is the first thing you see when you walk into the place. On the positive side, the room rate seemed to be excessively reasonable. Breakfast was pretty okay and security is very tight at night, so you can feel pretty good about staying there. It was good to try but I think I'll pay a little bit more and stay somewhere with nicer amenities next time.

A 2 pas du café boulevard del rio et de la calle del sabor. J'avais une chambre avec balcon qui donnait sur la rue pietonne mais le bruit était largement supportable puisque l'hôtel ne se trouve pas là ou les gens dansent dans la rue donc c'était parfait.

Hotel bien ubicado para estar cerca de los sitios turísticos. Frente a la peatonal del boulevard del Río para salir a caminar y acceder a los sitios de interés. El hotel es pequeño 6 pisos pero sus habitaciones son cómodas y las camas ricas para descansar Recomendado si tu plan es turismo
