Kowloon is best known as one of Hong Kong’s biggest shopping and nightlife area, but the list of things to do extends well beyond that. The choices are diverse, from interesting museums and ancient temples, to expansive country parks and bustling markets. Great transport links make getting around the wealth of attractions in the area pretty easy, too.
Thought of as the more authentic part of Hong Kong, Kowloon is a fascinating combination of historical and modern sights. Within a relatively small area, you can see some of the city’s tallest buildings together with old Lingnan architecture.
