Great place for a holiday with kids. The pool with a slide was a hit and the indoor heated pool is another added attraction. The barbecue area is under cover with a full size tv, so handy to watch the footy. There is an indoor playground for younger kids next to the barbecue area with plenty of tables so you can eat and watch the kids play.

The park is a little older, however we felt it was all really well maintained and clean. The room was equipped with plates, pans, cutlery toaster kettle chopping board. We did a load of washing during our stay and that seemed a little pricey $7 to wash then $7 to dry, however it didn't dry through so we had to run it a second time. There are some clothes lines that we could have used however we didn't bring pegs(if staying a little while you may want to pack a few) No jumping pillow available during our stay. The games room was also a bit disappointing most games broken, out of order or jamed with coins. Also the playground, tennis courts and mini golf needs a bit of attention. Pool was great for our toddler and the indoor heated pool helped us fill in the rainy days! I would happily stay here again.

A rustic holiday place

This is a very large caravan park with many cabins but they are all suitably spaced from each other each cabin gets its own parking area next to the cabin. This property is really good for families although anyone can enjoy it as it is surrounded by natural trees and landscaping. There is a small outdoor pool and a huge indoor heated pool which is great for all year round use. There’s also many amenities for little children to use. I found the furniture a little bit hard but acceptable. The kitchen has all the basic facilities. I think the cabins are showing a little bit of age but nothing too bad. There’s also a great balcony to every cabin with at least six chairs. It is very close to the beach. Perhaps a five minute drive or you could easily walk it. A small shopping centre is also nearby for all amenities.

Just spent 5 days at Happy Halliday's with our 2.5 year old & he loved it. Multiple pool options which was great. Very friendly and accomodating staff too.

There was nothing "Bad" about the park but there was definately nothingthat stood out. The facilities are mediocre at best. the place is very cramped. Ther were so many little things wrong with the place that it started to become a joke. There was no TV in master bedroom although there was one pictured on website. There was a broken knob on ceiling fan in bedroom making it difficult to operate. The park has an ant problem. Our air-con was not working for the first three days. The bathroom tap screamed at you whenever you used it. Half the Foxtel channels did nothing. The staff would park us in daily making if very difficult to get in and out of our ridiculously small parking spot. For a park operating in summer they have very limited office hours. Overall size of cabin was laughably smaller than it seemed in pictures and was nicknamed the sockbox as shoebox would have been overly generous. We found that we needed to buy several kitchen items as the wisk, spatula and spegetti spoon alone didn't cut it. On the up side the park and cabin were clean. The pool was a welcome diversion for the kids (when they could find space in it) and the weather was great, though I guess the weather has nothing to do with the park. All in all I would not recommend the place and I will not return.
