Bedside lamp broken and only decaf coffee. Better signage and lighting to cabin

The treehouse was unforgettable. We loved it. The location is so close to the Tail of the Dragon. Thank you for the memories made. I cant wait to come back.

This is an awesome property to stay at. Much more unique than just a hotel/motel room. Excellent bed, large room, great water pressure from the shower. My wife and I plan on returning again in the future.

My partner and I had a great time when we visited this property. Everything that we were told we would have was true, with more. The only bad experience was what could only be described as "hard water." My partner and are not used to the conditions of the water that was supplied to the shower.

8/10 Very good

Unique setting in the treetops. I would not call this luxurious, however. I was hoping for more trails to explore but there was just a very short path down to the water. Adjacent property is private homes so no exploring. Very basic: coffee but no sugar or cream. Still a good experience

The photos do not do justice to this dreamy, adventurous getaway. The cabin was not only secluded and serene, it was modern with stunning high ceilings, impeccably clean and full of thoughtful details. From an area to clean your vehicle and gear (complete with cleaner and towels) to skewers and firewood provided for marshmallow roasting to a pack of cards on the top shelf - the hosts literally thought of everything. A one-mile walk to town for any last minute needs and a mini fridge, freezer, microwave and grill to make yourself at home. The bed is super comfortable, a ceiling fan, fireplace and AC keep the room at whatever temp you like. Nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the river and waking up to gentle light coming through the tree canopy of the skylights. Very motorcycle friendly for anyone thinking about Tail of the Dragon - very easy to get a trailer in to a dedicated parking area, and covered parking for your truck and/or bikes is right at your unit. Cannot rate this experience highly enough! 10/10 for sure!

Nice but noisy

The place was clean and modern. It’s not super quiet though. There was an idiot just across the stream weedwacking a hillside. Probably about 100ft from our cabin. He did this for hours! Both nights we stayed, this idiot was trimming for like 4 hours. From like 4pm till dark. Super annoying..

Good

It was cute. The AC was off so it took some time to cool down. Another lamp by the microwave area would be good. We were sitting outside that night and the outside lights were on a timer and shut off. We thought we lost power. My husband spoke to someone and they informed us of the timer. So, we went inside...

Awesome secluded place to stay. Very cozy and clean. I am very glad we brought our “camping bin” however that has a lot of supplies, like utensils, paper plates, pan, spatula etc. We cooked all our meals on the grill. The kitchenette is nice but very small. The only sink is in the bathroom. Great access to the Tail of the Dragon (25 min drive) which was the reason for our trip. If you bring a trailer DO NOT try and take it to your cabin. Park outside the gate

Unmanned location

The second floor treehouse, a stand alone building among a few others, was comfortable and clean. It was fun to be among the trees. It may be a seasonal issue, but our arrival was frightening. pitch dark, no instructions beyond a phone number. We had our confirmation code received via email from the hotel, but only got repeated voice mail when we called. The website contact us site did not function as the captcha was broken. The office building was abandoned. We eventuallyfound an emergency number buried on the website, and the woman who answered said they had not gotten notice from Expedia. If that was the case, how ere we given a confirmation number on the hotel email? When we received our unit code and went there, there were no lights to use to climb on narrow outside staircase to second floor, and none to light out getting key and putting in the lock. Once in the space was clean and comfortable. As we left, however, we notice there was fire lighting fluid at many different spots. This struck us as dangerous given no on site staffing.

We planned it last min and we loved it very pretty will definitely stay again

Very nice place Comfy bed Nice towels Clean and enjoyable Only caveat is The town has a high poverty level- trailers, and a bit run down But that doesn’t affect the stay here. It didn’t bother me that much as Murphy Nc is only 30 min. Drive I would stay here again.

8/10 Very good

We wanted a change from staying at regular hotels and this provided a nice change, felt that the value wasn’t there as Expedia charged us over $ 350.00 Canadian and I think we would have been better off sourcing the property directly
