The apartment reeked of curry. No air conditioning and it was quite hot during our stay...there was a fan, but even with the windows and door open all night, it was still very hot. To make matters worse, there were no blackout curtains to help keep the sun out during the day...just sheer white panels. The bed was very thin and looked like the kind of mattress you get from Ikea for about $80 and it felt like it too. It was basically like sleeping in a tent/camping; open to the elements with all the windows open (and it rained), cot-like comfort level mattress, very hot and impossible to sleep past sunrise.
Getting access to our apartment was also a bit of a hassle. The directions were incorrect and we had to make several phone calls before we got it sorted out.
Zurich itself and Switzerland are incredible, but we would have enjoyed out stay much more if we had chosen a different hotel and it would have been worth the extra cost.
