Awesome Establishment!

The stay here was awesome! Great place and great staff! Restaurant and bar onsite were also amazing! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone in the area!

Frustrated

On our way to the hotel we got a message saying the owner had canceled our reservation for the 17th. We were not informed before then by hotels.com or anyone. We had no other place to go as it was booked every where close to oue destination. The owner put us up in a room that was not a rental unit. We Left some of our belongings and other items in the car and had to get ice for his insulin as there was no fridge in the room. We got charged full price. Next day we had a room rented at the same hotel and everything was good. Nice people but it was not a good experience for either my husband or myself. Next time I will book directly with the hotel.

Wonderful surprise

Motel is a beautifully renovated school. Lovely attention to detail. The owner & her daughter were very nice, good breakfast and a wonderful fish & chip meal.

Highly Recommend Stay

Clean rooms and food was great. Operator was very friendly. Gave tour of the facility and explained where each room was in the old school. Very nice bar and games area.

They were setting up for their halloween party but came out, did the check in. Showed me around the whole area and what their plans were. Brought me right to the room. Let us use their enterance as it was closer to our room than the main. We headed down to the bar and had a chat and explored the old school. Was very well done! Had a light breakfast in the morning as we were getting the boat.

Great place to stay coming and going from the Labrador ferry. The added benefit is the history of this Inn. It’s a converted school and is very well done. Love the story. And the food is great as well

Genevieve Bay Inn is a former school which has been converted to a B&B and pub. The owners are so hospitable and friendly. The food was excellent. The rooms are spotless and well-cared for. I loved the decorating and special features. I also appreciated the travel tips given and the time taken to escort us through the facility explaining everything. As first time visitors to the area we enjoyed a wonderful stay!
