Don’t expect to much after seen pool pics
Good for people who want to use hostel option and drink and party with friends and not actually use the rooms like a normal human being. Feels like an cold atmosphere and cheap materials used.

Big hotel !
The hotel was good but the neighborhoods are not very well. It's not safe across the bridge around the Arena.
The hotel is too big and we got lost for one time. The signing are not very well-marked and the lift is tooooo small five men with two big bags will fill up the whole space. I heard that there is a part of the hotel doesn't have the lift. It's lucky I asked about it before the check-in so they gave me the room where we can reach with the lift.

Mediocre stay
It was a hostel, not a hotel, and it doesn't allow check-in until 3 PM.

Great location, close to a tube and train station and the trendy fredrichshain district (not sure I’ve spelt that correctly). Old building, simply but nicely renovated. Friendly and helpful check in staff and lots of communal areas to hang out and meet other travellers.

Directly outside u-bahn which makes getting around Berlin very easy. Outdoor gated parking a short distance from the hotel for €10 per day, which for this location seems reasonable .

Great stay
Just come back from my stay here at hotel plus berlin and can say with confidence that i was really happy with my choice of accommodation. Rooms were spacious even if they were basic and were cleaned every day.
Staff were helpful at reception and give us information based on what we wanted to see and do on our stay.
For those looking for some nightlife theres bars/nightclubs dotted near by and theres even a organised pub crawl that leaves the hotel recption area daily (for a small price of €12).
If your looking for the culture and quiet experience then this place also accommodates for that, just around the corner of the hotel is where your find the East Side Gallery and Oberbaum Bridge where you can find plenty of cafe's and resturants to eat. Trainstation is a 2 min walk away for you to go visit other sights and other areas of Berlin.
We didn't use the facilitates such as the pool so unable to comment on that.
Room for improvement - Hotel could invest in travel irons for customers to use, apart from that little thing this was a great stay and one i would recommend.

Its used the word hotel. But it is %100 a hostel. That said i didnt mind it. In the cheaper side of things. Young crowd there. The room we had was our own wirh out own bathroom. Short on room features. No fridge or anything. Restaurant on site is reasonable.
Lastly the expedia ad for this site stated free parking. They have parking off site by a block. Under lock and key. But they charged $10 a night. I pointed out what the ad said and they refused to budge.
So keep that in mind.

As a hotel okay just for a short stay
Okay for a one night stay. Beds weren’t that comfortable and I got a few bug bites although I never opened the windows. Also, the prices of the bar / restaurant onsite are a bit pricey. But as it’s mainly a hostel I didn’t have high expectations.

Did thé job, no frills hotel
V basic hotel / youth hostel don’t expect any luxury or nice little extras
The hotel was clean enough but we had several issues:
-No toilet paper in the room upon arrival
-Shower has to left running for minimum 5 mins before the hot water arrived
-Shower fitting broken - unable to adjust the height
-Bedside lamp button completely depressed into the fitting leaving it inoperable
The furniture was minimal and not functional. The wardrobe was a giant block with sections but none sections had shelves so waste of space. There shelves running down the middle but we’re 10cm wide so pretty minimal for storing anything
The window was a vélux, so zero view. In order to open the window or close the blind you had to step up onto a ledge/bench which was may knee high and could have a problem for smaller people and a danger if u had kids
Be aware if you’re on the 4th floor u can only take the elevator to the third floor
On the positive side
- friendly staff
- nice pool and sauna
- nice to have a bar/pub/resto on site with a happy hour
- Breakfast well priced at 7.50€ , good choice for continental

Interesting place- the perks: sauna and sauna lounge are nice, breakfast is good, and staff is great, very friendly and accommodating. It feels like an apartment building that was renovated in the 90’s - it has balconies but no table or chair to sit on, shaggy carpet that might be brand new or super old, Everything looked like it was designed by A 25 year old boy fresh out of college and landed a high end job. Basically like a bachelor pad. I booked the day of so the price was high, if it is lower when booking ahead of time it might be worth it - below 100 a night and I’d go back. Above, definitely not. The neighbor hood is strange and it’s not close to anything

Interesting hotel that has potential
The hotel is a few minutes away from the East wall and the Mercedez Benz center and they offer bikes for rent (12 euro a day) while parking will cost you 10 euros a day.
My biggest complaint is that there is no fridge to put your (take away)food or drink in and there are no good outlets to charge your phone if you come from the US since your adapter will not fit in the holes in the bed headrest. I had to sit at the end of the bed to work on my laptop since there was the only reachable outlet. My room only had 1 chair so my wife couldn't join me at the kitchen table. That is just being unnecessary cheap. Their breakfast is better than most hotels of their budget range offer, but their worst could have been better. They just opened a can and served that. At least that is what it looked and tasted like, Not the German wurst experience I thought I would have. For that, you will need to go outside and try the many cafes and restaurants in the area. Other than that, we enjoyed our limited 3-day stay./ BTW.. you need to pay for your room key (5 euro per key) which is refundable at checkout so don't leave them in your room or throw them away.

Extremely loud, disrespectful staff, terrible area
Was charged a 7EURO local tax fee after being told all fees were paid from hotels.com got worse from there. Basically was put in the worst room in the building on the ground level right outside the front entrance. To make it worse there was a huge nightclub across the street and the temperature was 35 celcius at night. No fan or air conditioning and I couldn't open my window because it was at ground level right outside the main entrance. Worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Not a hotel, a hostel for the young ones.
It calls itself a hotel but it is a hostel. Pigeons at the attik. Sounds like rats in the wall
Staff was friendly, the pool area was dirty
