This hotel is very old and in poor condition. It does not look like the pictures on the website. I had to sleep with layers of clothes because the old fashion heater could not keep the room warm. Breakfast was one item heated in the microwave with one beverage.

Amazing 100+ year old hotel located in Lava Hot Springs Idaho, holding on to the feel with all amenities updated! Private mineral baths, beautiful decks overlooking the Portneuf River. Lovely Restaurant and bar with excellent waiter (Will) and Chef Josh!! Had a European feel and was very clean and comfotable!!!

It wasn’t the best hotel but it wasn’t the worst I’ve stayed at either. The history of the hotel was really cool. The private hot springs inside the hotel was very clean and a great unique experience! The breakfast was good however it took a long time to wait for it. The only complaint I have is the walls were thin and could hear people talking in the room next to us. And the bed frame was squeaky any time you would move. Other than that it was a great place to stay.
