The left luggage charges are an example of one bad thing that leaves a sour taste in your mouth even if the rest of the stay was ok. The check in process ok, the number of lifts was good, the hotel is clean and modern and the heated bathroom floor a delight. But……charging close to €5 per 4 hours for a locker to store your bags (in a hotel that is significantly pricey per night) is a masterclass in greed. The Scandic might think they are making a pretty penny but in fact they’ve lost my future business for hotel stays. Over 50 countries and countless hotel stays, I’ve never been charged for a case in a hotel I’ve just checked out of, save for a $ tip in US hotels.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here - clean room, adjustable bed, well kept interiors, breakfast buffet had lots of variety and even champagne. What could improve was that our shower constantly leaked water, resulting in using too many towels to mop up the water in the bathroom. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the wellness spa. The floor was extremely slippery, making it stressful to walk around. The locker room was really small and bare minimum, it was not a relaxing experience.

Hotel is nice and check in and out can be done onli e which saves q lot of time. Room was quite small. The controls for the lights are confusing and dont work very well. No coffee making facilities in my room which was disappointing. Gym.is small but well equipped. I didnt try the spa or the food. Location is nice and quite handy. Walking distance to the city.

The property is really well located for Tivoli Gardens and the Train station. The walk to the main shopping area is short (10-15mins) and allows you to get a good sense of the general areas of the city. The sofa bed was a little small for our 10 and 13yo but it was fine for our 3 night stay. Any longer or children who are a year older probably not suitable. Still great hotel.

Excellent in almost every respect

Excellent in almost every respect, staff were welcoming and efficient, breakfast was great and location perfect. Only tiny criticism is we booked a Junior Suite with a sofa bed for our teenage daughter, the sofa bed was noisy and uncomfortable and when we booked a room refresh, the coffee wasn’t replenished.

Nice hotell, very nice and clean room. As almost every hotel room there is water all over the bathroom after you shower. Very long walk to the elevators. One lesson is that just because it says that something is avaliable at the hotel doesn’t mean it’s free, or even cheap. I got a mail after booking that said it was at a cost. Pool and parking was quite expensive.
