"We stayed for one night and found the staff were very friendly, we had a clean room and a comfy bed. My only slight disappointment was the water during a shower wasn’t overly hot. It kept changing from cold to mildly warm. Other than that, a lovely stay. "

"Great location on the main road into the town opposite one of the main beaches in Newquay and within a short walk of the town centre amenities. The communal areas are really nice and the welcome excellent. The main room was okay with a comfortable bed and modern TV. The green-coloured bathroom was the biggest disappointment which was in need of renovation and a very good clean. Offered value for money out of season and would stay again "

"A place with a lot of heart. Clean, toiletries provided. And coffee, tea, milk, chilled water and snacks replenished daily. Handy for the main road, beaches, brilliant bakery opposite. Kind host. Just right for an inexpensive, well-located stop-over if you’re not fussed about it being modern. "

"Stayed in the hotel itself. In the bigger King suite. Very comfortable bed, great view, breakfast was tasty, spotlessly clean. Could do with improvement but didn’t take away from our stay: floorboards from above creaked a bit (to be expected in a Manor House), no evening meals in restaurant. Would definitely stay again."

"We chose to stay here again as another hotel wasnt up to scratch. Ended up booking a room literally thirty minutes before we checked in. Was so glad we could stay again as we had stayed here the night before. Lauren showed up to our room in the torrential rain nothing was too much trouble. The staff are absolutely lovely. Our room was gorgeous room 17 everything we needed. Slept really well the bed was so comfy. Great powerful shower. Fab breakfast to set us up for the day. Will most definitely...

"Fabulous view of the sea and easy walk to the city centre. There is a beautiful view from the bar and restaurant and I enjoyed one of their many spa massage treatments. The staff in the bar and housekeeping were also exceptional. The room was a bit warm but they do provide fans. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel. "

"The hotel was awful, dirty. Couldn't have dinner hotel to busy. Breakfast had to be pre ordered, then one breakfast was forgotten. Had to keep asking for items. The poached eggs were rock hard. The whole experience was a nightmare. Found cut dirty toe nails on the bed. cobwebs in the bedroom. Pool area was terrible. Hotel needs a complete refurb. Some photos couldn't be uploaded. "
