The Royal Corin Thermal Water Spa & Resort - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"This place was incredible! The resort itself is stunning! The thermal hot springs were relaxing and super clean. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony overlooking the main pool and a straight shot view of the volcano were out of this world. But the real stars of the show are the staff. I’ve traveled all over the world and the amount of attention the staff gave us was above and beyond. From the doorman, to the incredible front desk staff. The pool bar tenders, breakfast and dinner servers. I cannot rave about them enough. It was my wife’s birthday and they surprised her with multiple birthday celebrations unexpectedly. From decor in the room, to birthday cupcakes at breakfast, to birthday decor at dinner. The staff were just amazing! We reserved some of the best massages and body wraps ever. I highly recommend the spa treatments. This place was just an all around amazing resort experience. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel extremely special! Until next time. Pure vida. "
"This was such a peaceful vacation — the views were absolutely breathtaking! It’s a lovely local hotel with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. I booked an ocean-view room, and hearing the waves while watching the sunset each evening was truly magical.
A quick note for future guests: the hotel is divided into two areas, though all part of the same property. If you book a pool view room (which overlooks the larger pool), it’s located across the street from the main entrance. That side features a beautiful pool surrounded by rooms, complete with a swim-up bar. You’ll just need to cross the street to reach the beach.
If you choose a beach view room, you’ll be on the main entrance side of the hotel, which has a pool, a kiddie pool, direct beachfront access, and the main restaurant. Both sides are wonderful, and guests can enjoy the amenities of each no matter which side they stay on.
The breakfast buffet was excellent — plenty of fresh options — and the pool stays open until 9 p.m., which was perfect for a relaxing evening swim. Overall, I had such a peaceful and enjoyable stay and would definitely come back!"
