Fully Booked at Midnight

We were traveling late at night and booked this hotel online and once we got to the hotel the lady at the front desk told us she fully booked and didn’t know why it let us book there. She didn’t offer an apology or help looking for another hotel in the area. It was midnight and we have two small children with us. She could have offered more help.

BLACK MOLD Room 303

Black Mold Room 303. Posted pictures. The hotel would not give me any type of compensation for another Marriott stay somewhere else or a refund they simply just said sorry. Inside the closet behind it is the shower and next to the shower is the bed where you lay your head at night!! Made me sooo sick. Didn’t open closet and find the black giant mold spot until the morning of leaving. Took me a week to recover, black mold is air borne and very serious. As soon as you open the closet it’s very easy to see. Meaning the Cleaning staff has not been trained to look for mold at all or has told the managers and it has not been dealt with. The hotel is under two years old and this spot has been growing for months and months and possibly now in the unit under room 303. Very possible other rooms have been affected as well as the pipes were clearly not put in correctly for the shower and it is leaking through the walls. cleaning staff has not been trained to look for mold at all or has told the managers and it has not been dealt with. The shower was dripping even though we didn’t use it. And although I know it’s not under your control, the train coming by every two hours honking its horn was really annoying. Nice room overall though.
