We had a wonderful time in Florence and staying at the Stricklin. The beds are so comfortable and you can walk to many restaurants and entertainment. Would stay here again!

Hotel has no sound proofing between rooms
The hotel is lovely, beautiful boutique style, luxury decorated. However two out of three nights there was so much noise from the other rooms from 11:30 PM until 2 AM screaming, sexual activity, fighting, at one point I was screaming at the walls to make them stop. Unfortunately management and the front Dess leaves the hotel at 10 PM so it is basically unsupervised party. And party they did. We had one night of sleep.

Charming hotel
Very charming and historic building. There were some plumbing issues and things that go with older architecture. There wasn't a whole lot of shopping within walking distance, and overall Florence isn't real touristy, but there is so much history around there to take advantage of. Also, there was an excellent breakfast restaurant next door to the hotel as well as a fun club downstairs with a bowling alley.

Nice stay.. doors are are a little loud when they close and so are floors. Walls are thin but it’s an renovated old building, so a trade off for the unique architectural touches.. great location walking distance to restaurants and bars

Charming and unique
Great location, right on small town main street. Walking distance to quaint restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with nice toiletries. Hot shower. Loved the decor!
