No microwave in rooms. Air conditioner makes some noise. Can't sleep with air-conditioner on at night. Lamp can't be turned on. Nearby comunnity has lots of homeless people wandering around at night. Generally good hotel. Some places need improvement.

Invoice with incorrect amount for our 2 night stay
2 night / 2 rooms stay for business. Good stay for traveling but not good for business, no elevator. Checked in on Nov/01 and was informed we are charged for 1 night per room under the credit card when make room reservation via Hotel.com before our arrival. We informed reception we want to pay separately so need her process refund 1 night to my credit card then charge 2 nights to my colleague. When checked out we found my colleague's invoice amount should be same as mine but it is not, we found there is one amount around USD 250 in other charge, no one knows what is other charge and reception cannot answer us either. He promises to find out what's going on and will send correct invoice to me after weekend but still waiting it for now!! Can't believe this.

Lever ikke op til 3 stjerner
Jeg har rejst i mange lande, og det første gang jeg har oplevet et område med så mange hjemløse, at det er ubehageligt at gå rundt i. Vil mene at hotellet standard ikke lever op til 3 stjerner, men i stedet 2 stjerner. Valgte den pga. pris og beliggenhed. Kan nævne en masse ulemper om hotellet og området. - Mange hjemløse i området. Ubehageligt at gå rundt i - Ingen elevator - AC larmer - Dårlig lydisoleret værelser - Mærkeligt lugt på værelser - En af vores værelser var dårlig rengjort Der var dog et plus fra hotellet og det var en lille gratis udvalg af morgenmad. Brød, marmelade, yoghurt, kaffe og juice. Hvis jeg kommer til SF igen, vil jeg ikke vælge dette hotel eller område.

Rough neighborhood but ok place
When we searched for a hotel we put in a request for a hotel with a pool, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. We’ll this place came up. It wasn’t the cheapest and had a pretty good rating so we booked it. Not the best location. Free continental breakfast and spotty Wi-Fi. NO POOL. The room was ready early, but it smelled so strong of pinesol that it burned our eyes. Besides that, the room was missing things, a desk ( we used the ironing board), coffee maker but no cups, very warm room and the bed was so soft I woke up with a stiff back and neck. Overall the place wasn’t bad, bathroom was fancy nice. We made the best of it and rented bikes to get around. Staff was helpful and friendly. The area was very loud. Blasting music at midnight woke us up. Next time were in the area, we’ll stay somewhere closer to the action and can prove they have a pool.

some retro modern charm.
Cute hotel that has some retro modern charm. It may not be in the best location for tourists but is still close to public transit options and close to freeway access towards Oakland to the East or the peninsula area headed South down to Silicon Valley and San Jose, The family room with 2 double beds and a 3 tier bunk bed gave the whole party plenty of sleeping space. There is a limited continental self service breakfast that is convenient and better quality than many found in flyover country. The kids were fascinated by the phone in the bathroom and appreciated the large flat screen TV with lots of viewing options.
