Greymark hotel is extremely centrally located with a nice lobby and kind staff. Check in was quick and seamless, there was parking nearby with complimentary valet service. The room was clean with a very large and comfortable bed and fast internet, The restroom and shower were great with excellent water pressure. The only area for improvement would be the sound insulation - both between rooms and with the outside street for rooms facing outward.

I booked one night in this hotel. The room is very confortable maybe a bit noisy due to the fact that the hotel is in one of the avenues with a lot of traffic. The hotel is applying proper covid19 instructions except in the restaurant which is closed and has no ventilation. The breakfast is included but I was not allowed to have it in the small terrace as apparently is it only for smoking even if there are a few tables outside. I could not have my breakfast as I refused to have it inside with the rest of the customers and it was quite busy at this time. I did not understand the rules as I even told the waiter that I would bring my plates inside once finished but they refused to let me have it outside. A bit disappointed in terms of security and customer service.

The staff are professional. The moment we were standing outside the building the security personnel immediately took our luggages without asking if we were going in. The check in was smooth with no contact. Our room was always cleaned & tidy. The only "negative" thing we could bring it up is the breakfast. We stayed for 6 nites & its the same breakfast pre-wrapped for us.

We loved our 4 days & 3 nites - we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel when visiting Izmir. A 10 minute walk to the sea and 3 minute walk to the Basmane Metro. There are also trams that can take you all around. The Kulture Park was across the street and we took the train to Hilal Station and at Hilal changed to the metro to the hotel’s Basmane stop! No cabs necessary - Most economical transportation the the airport!!!

Good value for money at this modern clean hotel. Breakfeast was not great. My girlfriend walked in on her own one afyernoon and the manager asked her what room she was staying in. Slightly intrusive and awkward.

The Hotel has a grest location with a few minutes wslk of the Railway/Metro station. 3 mins to the very large and well maintained Kulturpark. It's on the edge of the city centre, 10 mins to the sea and about the same to the Kemeralti Bazaar. The room I had 401 was at the frong of the hotel, it was clean, light and well equiped with lots of electrical sockets, a flat screen TV, mini fridge. Easy chairs and coffee table. The bathroom had a lovely powerful shower with Rain head and hand spray, complementary toiletries were provided and smelt lovely. Room service was dsily and always willing to change towels. 2 bottles of water were provided in the room each day. Breakfast is no longer buffet due to Covid19, but the provided plate of cheeses, meats, egg and salad was filling especially when consumed with the supplied bread. Covid19 is making life difficult for all of us individually and for those running a business, the hotel staff adhered to all the rules in place, and would often remind guests of the need to stivk to the rules. There are 2 minor points I have to mention. 1 the Double glazing does not eliminate all the traffic noise of the busy toad in front of the hotel, you soon get used to it. 2 the only place to sit outside is at the rear of thd dinning room essentially thd smoking area. It's rather soulless and the chairs aren't made for an afternoon of relaxing in the limited sun that the 'patio' gets.
