This hotel was exactly what it claimed to be! It’s a very cute renovated motel with a community-oriented lobby.
We stayed here the night before a big roadtrip with our dog. The staff was very friendly, immediately letting me know the pet policy, where she could go, what amenities they had available to us, etc.
We were not traveling socially or with kids, but if you are: this is a great space! There’s tons of games in the lobby and wide open spaces! I’m not usually a big “kid” person but there was enough to occupy all of them without it feeling like I was at a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party. There was also a nice bar.
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My partner said the beds were too firm so if you like really soft beds, that’s worth considering. But that one thing aside, we will stay at this hotel exclusively moving forward in the springs. For just being in a ”motel”, we felt very safe and didn’t worry once about our cars full of our belongings in the parking lot! There were actually a lot of nice cars, not a lot of unattended teenagers or loiterers or needles like some places we’ve stayed before in the area. It’s hard to find affordable and clean and aesthetically pleasing spaces here. Highly recommend!!
