Really great room. Attention to every detail
Stumped by the self check in but more our issue not the establishment. They were super helpful. We had a guest with sepcific ability needs and they catered for us brilliantly. Would stay again. The pub across the road is excellent so book early.

A clean and cosy environment which had been decorated and styled with great taste. A novelty to have beautiful original artworks rather than the usual generic prints . Lovely comfortable bed and modern bathroom .

The Farmers Arms Hotel accommodation was ok. The room was smaller than the pictures. And out look from the room as it was behind the cottage. The bed was comfortable and the heater was on when we arrived. No cups or spoons for tea and coffee.

Lovely Intimate Studio
We had a lovely stay, very clean. Very well appointed studio, and extra touches - like inscribed wine glasses, coffee machine and cheese board with knives. Comfortable bed, and plenty of space to sit and relax. Staff were fantastic, extremely approachable. Also a great location.

Not sure exactly how this is classed as a 4.5 star accommodation on Wotif? It’s basically a freshly painted glorified roadside motel. Comfortable for a sleep if you aren’t expecting anything special. Calling yourself a Hotel though is just plain lying. It’s a 2.5-3 star Motel at best. Disappointed.

The only down side to our visit was the fact that you have to check in at the Farmer's Arms Hotel, whereas the accommodation is across the road. The hotel was full of Saturday evening drinkers and diners and so 'checking in' is a question of catching the eye of one of the staff who knows about the accommodation.

The Property appeared to be quite new. it was very clean and tidy. However we felt it was poorly furnished as it lacked a table and chair to sit at. The minny bar was free however the offing was quite small and not restocked after our first night. The room was more of an old style motel not a hotel. Big picture I did not think it was value for money.

Shut out
We chose this place based on being able to dine at the Farmers Arms hotel opposite. (It’s a good meal normally). I know everyone is still recovering from CoVid BUT the pub is now closed 2 days per week - when we were there - so we were a long way from town without a reason to be out there. WiFi didn’t work either but there was no-one to speak to about it. Anyway the moral of the story is to check that the pub is open before booking the accommodation across the road. Hope they can soon get back to the 7 days a week status they advertise. Best wishes.
