Great location and nice property

Hotel location was terrific - beautiful view and good access to Snaefellsnes Peninsula as we finished our trip on the Ring Road. Rooms: We had an economy room which was VERY small and at the end of the hallway in (I believe) the older part of the hotel. Tiniest bathroom sink I've ever seen... Regardless of size, it was immaculate and suited our needs fine. We had recurrent issues with one of our keys - had to keep going back down to the front desk when the electronic key stopped working, but not a big deal. Due to the small size of the rooms, we sat outside our room at one of the seating areas in the hallway (a couple lounges available on each floor) to relax at the end of the day - which was a nice option. Restaurant: We had one dinner and two breakfasts. Dinner was delicious although a limited menu - lamb, fish, beef, veg. Breakfast was simple but fresh and good. Overall a lovely stay.

Serenity

We stayed here on our last night before flying back to Seattle. Very peaceful setting with a great breakfast. Enjoyed a nice dinner in the elegant top floor dining room.

Lovely hotel.

Nice, new hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, good food. Just a couple miles off Route 1. Would definitely stay there again, but there’s 2 minor areas that need work. First, the finishing touches of construction seem a bit cheap (i.e. loose towel bars, flimsy end tables). Second, bathroom was very cramped. Pretty much all bathrooms in Iceland are cramped, but this was the most cramped we’d seen. Clean and functional, just tight.

Huggulegt hótel á friðsælum stað

Hugguleg herbergi og mjög góður veitingastaður. Stutt að labba í snyrtilega sveita sundlaug (engin lúxus en þjónar sínum tilgangi vel).

The location was beautiful. The facilities were very stylish. The breakfast was so-so. The room got a bit stuffy at night because the window is small small and you must close the curtains to sleep in the summer. AC or a fan in the room would help.

Great property would definitely recommend. Front desk staff was very pleasant and extremely accommodating. They have a relatively early check-in time to begin with but understood we had a long flight and let us even check in earlier. Room is clean and has everything necessary. Bathrooms are extremely small, but that’s the standard in most hotels. We had dinner at the restaurant and that was a great experience as well. Not too far from a lot of attraction and a comfortable stay.
