Good stuff - Staff were friendly & helpful. Due to Covid 19 the normal facilities & services were either unavailable or reduced but this is not the fault of the hotel; what was on offer was very nice. Location is ok, seemed a safe area, there is a 10-15 min walk to get into the centre of the main attractions, not bad to start out but at the end of the day after walking everywhere your feet are grateful for having a tram service to take you back! (stopping outside of the hotel). The rooms are large & comfortable, clean with good showers.
A misunderstanding during check in regarding pre-authorisation of Visa card for local tax payment etc was sorted out very quickly by Alberto so good service. (wasn't explained by staff on arrival that a large amount would be charged on the card initially but then only the outstanding money due at end of stay would actually be paid against this and the remainder 'refunded' so came as a shock on my Visa bill initially).
Points to note - if you are in the front rooms on first floor.
There is some noise from the busy road nearby however, this is muffled by the soundproofing and didn't stop us from sleeping after all the walking we had done each day. (except for the emergency vehicle sirens going by in the early hours!)
The 'fittings' (ropes and pulleys etc) on the flag poles outside the hotel can be heard knocking together when its windy which can wake up light sleepers & can be a little irritating.
Overall, a nice hotel.
