Center of everything in Chaweng
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Chaweng. This hotel is in the heart of Chaweng, a 2 minute walk to the beach and the night life. About a 3-4 minute to the popular Ark Bar as well. Overall the hotel felt brand new and the room was modern and clean. The AC did a great job at cooling the room fast. This is great because the shower / bathroom have vents that go outside and if you leave the bathroom door open, all the cold air will go out. So we had to make sure that we closed the bathroom door each time to keep the room nice and cold. The staff were also great and were very friendly. There is a 7-eleven across the street and a McDonald next door. This hotel though is not for you if you are looking for an early night sleep and if you are a light sleeper. It is really a hotel for those who enjoy a late night life and don't mind the noise. You can hear the bars and the numerous annoying Thai boxing trucks throughout the night due to the open vents in the bathroom. Only suggestion I have for the J4 management is that you should offer the gym to guests for free instead of the 80 THB a day fee. Overall though it is a great hotel and I would stay here again.

4 nights, very comfortable, cool rooms, helpful staff helped me easily rent a scooter, walkable to beach Great service. Staff also helped set up ride to the airport. Problem with this place is how close it is to a very loud street. One of the nights the music was so loud that we had to wear ear-plugs.This area is completely touristic, and is flooded with people every night. Restaurants on this street are overpriced, and not as delicious as in other parts of the island. If you don't mind large crowds of tourists and loud music late into the night, this place is clean and comfortable. However, steer clear if you're looking for an authentic island-vibe kind of place.
