This is an affordable room in a great location. You just have to know what you're getting into. The room is tiny, as you can expect for the price in Hong Kong. AC and WiFi work well. If this is your first "guest house" experience you may be in for a shock; you won't get much assistance. There's no front desk per see, just the owner there part time. The one time I tried to use the phone in the lobby, it didn't work. The location is a little unsettling, inside a building (the gate closes at night) and a short ride in a small elevator. It feels like you're getting an authentic experience of living in a crowded HK with limited space.
The room is basically a tightly fitted, very hard bed surrounded by walls on 3 sides, with a foot of space on the 4th side. A tiny entryway connects the bathroom, which is a ~4x4' room with a shower, sink and toilet. The shower water hits the toilet seat if that tells you how small the room is.
The best part is the location. It's a very short walk from the Jordan MTR station, temple street night market, and park. Plenty of shops and places to eat in the area. Across the street from 7-11 and Watson's. McDonalds and KFC at the corner for a backup meal plan. The MTR gives you easy access to anything you want to do in HK.
This is an affordable place that I would recommend only for single travelers or understanding couples who plan to spend 90+% of their waking hours exploring the city. If you want to come home to comfort, look elsewhere.
