Only a 1-night stay, but we'll return again! The location is so convenient. Breakfast spot a few steps away was perfect as we did not opt for the breakfast included option at the hotel. Transportation options so simple. Quiet despite central location.

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel, which is located in a quiet area. We were in room 11, a triple one, on the first floor. The room was quite spacious and spotless. The nearest U-bahn station is 2 min. away and there are also pleasant restaurants in the area. The hotel has its own character and the service is perfect. There is a coffee machine in the room. Ku-Dam is a few blocks away and is a nice option for a stroll. Bottomline: excellent value for the money, excellent location.

We had a good sized family room but the bathroom (just a shower room) was TINY! Great location though with lots of restaurants just round the corner. Less noisy from the road than we thought it was going to be.

We liked the style of the building and interior. Our room was very spacious for the 5 of us. Breakfast was great. It was wonderful to have air conditioning in the room. If there were shower doors instead of a curtain, it would be easier to keep water off the floor. We would enjoy staying here again.

A hotel in a great location, however it didn’t feel welcoming and is dated. The large room that I stayed in was very big and spacious which was good, it was kept clean, however no air conditioning during a heatwave was an irritation.

Easy to find and in a good location, not far from the underground at all. We chose this hotel because it was extremely cheap and you get what you pay for - in 32 degree heat all we had was a fan in a 4 person room and no fridge. Bathroom was absolutely tiny. Staff were rude and abrupt at check out. Worth paying a little more for somewhere with air con for definite, no ventilation in the bathroom and the entire room was boiling constantly.

Good stay

The hotel is old but well maintained. The only down side was not too have an air conditioner. It is very hot in Berlin at this time of the year. They provide you with a fan but it is not enough. The location is perfect!, people is helpful and very nice, breakfast is great. It was good for what it was needed.

Nice quiet hotel with spacious room. Within five minute walk of Wittenbergplatz U-Bahn and there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

Great location

Just around the corner from the Ka de We. Hop off the U at Wittenbergplatz and you're about 3 min walk. Location excellent. Staff are lovely. Breakfast is certainly not the highlight but you're metres from cafes etc. What I would say is there's a smoking balcony by reception and the floor absolutely stinks of smoke. Otherwise, rooms great, staff great, we would come back.

Friendly Staff

The hotel has a great location and a friendly, helpful staff. While close to a busy intersection, we found the place surprisingly quiet. Our room was not luxurious, but it was entirely comfortable. As in other hotels retrofitted into older buildings, you had to walk up or down a flight of stairs to reach the elevator, and our bathroom was a tight fit, but this was part of the charm of the establishment. I would certainly stay there again or recommend it to a friend..
