The actual property was awesome just didn’t care for the old floors but everything else was great. We had to move into another apartment because of one of the bathrooms toilet overflowed and there was water everywhere including on personal items. It took a while for them to address the problem but eventually they moved us in another apartment which was gorgeous. The area where the building is located looks like the hood. I didn’t expect that because this was my first time visiting New Orleans. Being on the first floor I would advise them to change the shear curtain because you can see right through the window from the outside. We had to put something dark over the window to feel secure in the apartment. Other than that it was a great stay.

The building and unit were nice and not far from most attractions. Video surveillance for outside and hallways. Electronic codes for access to the building and rooms. There is an eye sore of a building and vacant lot directly across the street and a large dumpster but the neighborhood was walk/bike friendly with local bars. Spacious unit. Ice machine was frozen and didn’t work fridge is an eyesore. There were not enough face/wash towels and the oven did not work even after calling for maintenance. Limited natural light. One of our guests walked into a wall after turning off the lights and had a sever nose bleed. Needs night lights. Just a heads up beds are low to the floor (platform style) Communication lagged after initial check-in. No confirmation of check out or release of the security deposit. Sent message in the app they responded via email and encouraged to use the app… we had bought groceries and bakeware (none on site) to budget time and money for meals since no free breakfast like hotels but oven didn’t work. Talk about compensation for non working appliance ceased abruptly. Offered to discuss but then stopped responding. One concierge was responding from London and sent me text messages at 5 am… Again pretty place but there is room for improvement.

The property blended in with the neighborhood very quiet extremely clean. It made me feel like home. The photos were exactly like the place enjoyed it so much I wish I could stay longer. Will definitely return to sonder on all of my other trips
