The Berwick - Over 40's only, is a small guesthouse in the North Shore area of Blackpool. We provide a comfortable, homely atmosphere in a quiet setting. We are close to the promenade and about a 30 min walk or short tram ride from the Blackpool Tower and other attractions in the centre of Blackpool. Free parking is available on the street and there is also a pay & display car park a few minutes walk away at Gynn SquareWe are near to Gynn Square and the sunken gardens, Queen's Promenade, North Shore Golf Club and cliff walks as well as being about a 30 minute walk, short tram or bus ride away from Blackpool town centre, Tower, Madame Tussauds, North Pier and the Opera House and Grand theatres.To the North it is easy to get to Thornton Cleveleys and Fleetwood with it's regular market and the Affinity Shopping Village.We do not accept bookings from stag or hen groups. Over 40's couples and singles only.

Perfect break
The hosts were so welcoming. They took our bags up to our room whilst we found somewhere to park. The beds were super comfy and everything was spotless. Breakfast was great and well cooked. I’m returning within a few weeks it was so nice. I recommend this little gem!

Excellent accommodation
I am reviewing this for my Mother in Law who recently stayed with her sister in law. They had booked on a week away with another hotel with entertainment etc booked but due to an apparent covid outbreak (which we think was false and that they overbooked) they phoned the day before and cancelled on my mother in law. So thankfully, The Berwick has availability at last minute. They throughly enjoyed every second of their stay. She tells me that the check in was smooth and quick. They managed to check in before the check in time and leave their cases. The owners are extremely friendly and will help you in any way they can. The breakfast is ordered the day before so it is ready for you as you come down in the morning and they ask if everything is to your liking and if not what can they change . The rooms were a good size, clean and extremely comfortable. Overall my Mother in law and her sister in law had a very enjoyable stay. The location is convenient and is off the main stretch so it is not too noisey on a night. She is recommending to everyone she knows and will definitely be back. Thank you for looking after them both, we really appreciate it.

Short Break
Had a great stay, well presented property extremely clean, Heather and Les were friendly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order with a wide choice cooked as you liked it. Would definitely book again
