Our stay was fine, but I would not book here again. The issues that interfered with our comfort were: 1) There was a strong smell of weed in parts of the hotel which, at times, made its way into our room. 2) There was VERY loud music in the lounge off the lobby, which we could plainly hear in our room. This went on well past midnight and made it hard to fall asleep. 3) The water in the shower was VERY hot, even on the coldest setting.
In all of our interactions with staff, they were friendly and helpful. The lobby area was by far the most casual I've ever seen in a hotel of any kind; I thought we might be in the wrong place. The room furnishings were sparse, but seemed overall clean. Other reviews commented on the neighborhood; the area definitely isn't touristy, but we felt fine walking around.
