It’s a pub. The room was good, but the carpet was too pale. The bed was too soft for me, but that’s picky. Teas & coffees much better than expected and much appreciated. There’s a storage cupboard next to Room 2 that needs to be opened/closed, more often than I would wish.

Highly recommend, lovely comfy room. Made to feel very welcome. Thank you.

Great hotel, fab breakfast cooked whatever wanted, one of us is a vegan. Lovely dinner. Only complaint was noise from air conditioning units (assume thats what they were) as we were above kitchen. Great for getting to hikes at Cheddar Gorge, or same dustance to beach etc.

Staff was good the rest not so

The staff were extremely helpful, their service was second to none. Rooms are clean and adequate for our needs.

The room was lovely and spacious with a really comfortable bed and decent shower. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely recommend here and will probably stay again.

Quality roomy boutique room (great shower in Room 1 that I was in) and breakfast. Clearly a good chef for all meals. Staff were always very helpful

Clean and tidy property with very affable and pleasant staff who make everyone feel welcome.

Overall nice bathroom lovely but window sill housed a dead fly and dust! Room a little noisy because of music from bar and traffic. But a good pitstop
