Another great stay at Jay Suites, like their motto it truly is a home away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have great showers and beds, with a nice sitting area to relax, The staff is very helpful, especially Bijaya, we’ll miss them when we head back home at the end of our holiday.

The staff is very helpful and has gone over and above to ensure we have a good trip. The airport pickup service was very helpful, the showers are great, and the rooms are very clean with a safe in the room. The rooms are complete with chairs to unwind after a long day of site seeing. The rooftop patio is beautiful for taking in Thamel from above. Bijaya has been particularly helpful, checking in to ensure we are having a good stay, helping arrange transportation, and remembering our lemon honey ginger tea drink order :)

Jay Suites has been our home away from home on a month long trip. When we come back to the hotel we feel like we’re able to unwind from the hectic streets of Kathmandu and reflect on our day. The staff is very helpful and has gone over and above to ensure we have a good trip. Bijaya has been particularly helpful, helping arrange for us to get bus tickets for the biggest day of Tihar when a lot of the buses were not running. Highly recommend staying here.

I have been in Kathmandu 3 times, and Jay Suites is, by far, the best hotel I have used. The location is impossible to match, it's in the Thamel, but 2 blocks away from the noisy area, which makes it perfect for resting and you're still in the middle of the action. Everything is excellent, to be honest, but my especial compliment goes to the staff: super-friendly and helpful (the guys at the reception and the cleaning ladies are the best!), and they treated me like a king since the moment I arrived. I had a problem with my flight on the last day, and they even gave me a complimentary ride to the airport. I am planning to go back in 2021 and I definitely visiting them again. My friend and I had a comfortable stay at Hotel Jay Suites. The staff were friendly and breakfast was included with our staff. The bedroom was sufficient and hotel amenities were replaced each day when the room was cleaned. It was located away from the main busy road which meant we could rest without being disturbed by external noise. Durbar square was about 15 to 20 mins way by foot. Only problem we encountered was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom every time we switched the main bathroom light on. But it didn't bother us up to the point where we had to ask for a new room. Hotel Jay Suites provided us with the service we needed for our short stay in Kathmandu.

We've stayed at Hotel Jay Suites three times, and it is our go-to hotel in Kathmandu. The location is central yet quiet (due to being located on a side street), the rooms are clean and modern, the staff is great, and the breakfast is a great buffet with a blend of continental and Indian foods.

This is the third time that my husband and I have stayed at Hotel Jay Suites and again we have felt that Jay Suites has been a real home. We love the simple, tasteful and modern decor. The hotel is like a clean and quiet sanctuary after coming back from the busy streets of Kathmandu. The people who work there have made our stay exceptional. Especially worth noting is that the quality of hospitality has been ALWAYS high and constant and never has been less than that. We love the friendly and very accommodating housekeeping staff with their attention to detailed cleanliness not only in the rooms but throughout the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet spread is extensive with many dishes to choose from and food that we ordered from the menu has been so tasty. The waiters are friendly, attentive and professional and pretty soon they had figured out our breakfast habits and preferences which added to our comfort. Any request or a question we had was handled professionally at the front desk. And whenever we came back to the hotel after some excursion we were received with a lovely greeting. In closing, I like to say that the entire crew of Jay Suites has become like family and we look forward to choosing this hotel again at our next visit to Nepal.

Hotel is located centrally at thamel which provided easy access to the market, hotel is clean and serves very good breakfast. Staff is very helpful and courteous, would recommend this hotel for stay at Kathmandu.
