We only stayed 1 night here and arrived late, after hours. They left our key for us so we were still able to stay. The room was quite comfortable, clean, and nice. Beautiful view in this area. Breakfast was great! I highly recommend this hotel to anybody who will be staying in the area!

The place is a bit run down, expensive for what you get, no free breakfast and location not so convenient. Also, I was charged 8,60 euros for council taxes thinking it had been paid as it says when I booked the hotel. A lot of mosquitoes in the room, I'd say we killed around 20 the first night and a big spider as well. The good things were a kettle and a fridge.

It was a lovely cozy hotel with extremely helpful staff. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious

Loved our stay here in this beautiful area, the quiet hotel is very close to the lake, bike paths and not too far from the castles. A family run hotel, some of which is over 500 years old, kindly purchased vouchers to visit Neuschwanstein for us. Thank you!! We made dinner reservations which was a great meal. The fresh pumpkin soup was amazing, I wish I had asked for the recipe! English was very good, we felt very welcome.

super location, very inviting lovely romantic place, rooms did not disappoint compared to online pictures. they tell you to check out at reception then there is no one there, no bell either. if online booking takes care of payment, why tell guests they "have to check out"?

Beautiful countryside inn was charming, and situated in a nice quiet location. Clean, and very comfortable, nice little deck and great family service!

Area is very bavarian away from downtown noise and people look real german.In Schwangao I thought I was in Tokyo or Beijing.No offense intended.Food was good a nd staff fantastic.

We enjoyed our time at this cute, cosy hotel. The food at the restaurant is good and we enjoyed having coffee and tea on our room's balcony, with fabulous views of the mountains. The wifi was poor, but if you are aware of this and bring something else to do, this is a great place to unplug and unwind.

This is a Gasthaus, not a modern hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rustic charm is what we were looking for. The dinner was fantastic. Very quiet location and nice walks along a Bavarian stream are only a minute away. We were all pleasantly surprised.

A cost countryside hotel I beautiful surroundings. Maybe the kitchen could’ve stayed open when we announced late arrival. But all in all worth every penny.
