While the property is beautiful, the staff was naïve and saccharine to the point of being overbearing. If you want flawless service from staff who understand the complexities of international travel stay elsewhere.
This hotel seems hopelessly obsessed with recreating the British Raj - quite over the top and offensive.

Location is fantastic, in the laneways of Chandni Chowk, wander directly into the various markets. Walking distance to Jama Masjid, The Red Fort and Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib.
The building itself is absolutely stunning and rich in history. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean, but be sure you get the room type you booked.
The staff are definitely what truely makes this place, all so professional, knowledgeable and engaging. Specifically Deepry on hotel side and Raja in the restaurant. Also another young man from restaurant who taught us to fly kites…was so much fun.

Amazing historic property in the madness of downtown old Delhi. Impossible to find without help if you are a foreigner, or to get a ride directly to the front door, but the uniqueness of the place and the extraordinary facilities and service make the stay an incredible experience.

Amazing hotel! Only 1 negative: location is in the heart of Old Delhi; so the staff has to meet you up the street at the police station to help you with your bags. Then you have to walk to the hotel through a back ally. However… totally worth it!!
We loved the architecture. We got all dressed up and spent more than an hour taking family pictures around the building.
The rooms were romantic and spotless. Probably the best beds we experienced in our month across India. Best bed linings ever.
Staff went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable.
The rain poured so we missed the kite flying and pigeons. Sad.
Live dancing was fun. Way too loud! But unique
5 minute walk from tons of restaurant. Or do the food tour!! As an international tourist I don’t eat anything cold from the street (juice, anything made with ice, most sweets, even dips like chutney, etc) but I would trust the hot food: tandoori, kabobs, fresh naan, parathas, etc. yum.
Great hotel in Old Delhi.
