Lots of ammenities and clean

The room had a very modern layout with a kitchen complete with sink, fridge and freezer, coffeepot, and microwave. There was a large workspace and comfortable deskchair, television on another surface, lots of drawers and surfaces for clothing, etc and a large closet with an ironing board and iron. The bathroom was spacious with a full bathtub and all the expected ammenities. The beds were comfortable and there was a pull out couch. The continental breakfast had plenty of fresh options including beverages.

Different stay

During my stay the first time around. I felt a bit more relaxed. I was much more comfortable the first time. This time felt a little different. Not only did i get a call from the room right under me to complain of the noise. I was just walking across the floor goingto the restroom, but not all the staff greeted my family and I upon arrival. I spoke coming in and not only was the staff on their personal cell phone, but the staff gave me eye contact and still did not greet me. This is possibly my last time staying here. Although i will say once I did finish packing my belongings. I felt a little upset about the stay, but when I approached the front desk. There was a young man named Travis i believe. His personality, his professionalism, and his positive attitude. It really puts you in a different space. Please cherish this young man. He will take your business to new heights. Not only his encounter with myself and my family but his encounter with others is so genuine. Not contrived or pretentious. Please reward him. Plus the young lady...Thank you

Nice stay

Nice clean hotel. Quite a few of the residents put trashbin hallway at night? My only complaint was they did not have smart TVs

New housekeeping needed

Check in was fast and easy. Went to our room and within the first 5 minutes fire alarms went off. I grabbed my kids and headed outside. No employees told anyone to get out. No one said a word. Most of us sat out front for a bit until the alarms turned off. Not an apology, or “ hey it’s okay to come back in”. The rooms LOOKED clean. Then I went to use the bathroom and there were finger prints in the bars to help you get up- wasn’t cleaned after last guest. Went to take a shower. There was a long gray hair on the shower handle and soap left on the soap shelf. It was clear it wasn’t cleaned either. My toddler found a used q-tip in the kitchen area under the sink. There was crumbs of some sort between the side table and bed. Their cleaning staff definitely need to be shown a proper way to clean, considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic! Other than all of that, it’s in a great location with food and shopping just steps away.

Wow!

It was the cleanest place I've ever seen. Very modern with wonderful, well thought out amenities (perfect room darkening shades, curtain room divider, shampoo/soap dispenser in shower, almost full size refrigerator, curtain to cover hanging coats and luggage). Very tasteful and organized. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Durham!
