    We lucked into a reservation here. The staff was fantastic, especially for cooking (try the fish and chips) and service (the recommended beer was just what we were seeking, dark and rich and smooth). The view of the Salmon River from the dinner veranda and room was first rate. I appreciated the king bed and the motion sensor quiet light in the bathroom. Good wifi. The restaurant was at that point only open for lodgers, so was serene.

    Margit the wonderful.

    My stay at the Salmon River Inn was the best! Friendly and helpful service with knowledgeable staffs. The food at the dine in restaurant was fabulous and generous in portions. Margit the owner is now my favourite person on the Eastern Shore.

    A very nice older inn, very clean and the staff was very friendly. We had our evening meal on the deck overlooking the water which was quite peaceful and relaxing and the food was delicious. However, Wifi wasn’t that great. I would definitely stay again as the location was ideal for a staycation beach tour on the Eastern shore of beautiful Nova Scotia!
