This is a very nice hotel with outstanding service from the front desk staff to the housekeepers. Would recommend it if you need to be in the NoMad neighborhood. Breakfast at the Blank Slate was also good.

I was able to get an early check in (for a price). I checked into the room and it was 54 degrees in there. I just came from a red eye so tried to take a nap anyway after putting the heater on. I woke up about an hour or so later and it was still 56 in the room. The heater was broke (it was 7 degrees outside). I called and they sent someone up (it took a little while but he came). He fixed it pretty quick. While getting ready I tried to watch Tv. The Tv was broke. They said it was “because of the weather”.
After my day in the city for 6 hours I came back, and my key didn’t work. Had to go back down and get a new one. After relaxing for a couple hours and getting ready to go out, while getting changed, I noticed a HUGE centipede on the wall. Which I smashed and left guts on the wall. When I went downstairs I showed them pics and told them about everything gone wrong. I was told she would give 25% off. (Not great but whatever). Oh, also the entire 3 1/2 days I was there I got no changing of sheets or cleaning. I only had the do not disturb up for the initial 2-3 hour nap I took after early check in.
When checking out none of the discounts had been applied to my bill. When I told them what I was told they said they would look into it. What was determined was that ONE NIGHT would be discounted 25% lol.
Sooo, yeah. Needless to say I won’t be staying at the Mondrian again.
