The room was very big and also had a good view. Only thing is that it had some kind of smell I didn’t like. Staffs were nice and kindly helped me with the broken zip of my suitcase.

Property listed Pictures Of The Area Of The Guest House Which is False. Share Bathroom which was not listed was not functioning Right Due To Pipe Leak. No Central AC in the Room just a floor fan. Breakfast very basic but okay. Overall I Give It A 6 Rating.

It's my first time staying in a room with shared toilets, was impressed with the cleanliness of them. The room we had was clean and spacious. Communciation is prompt, we arrived later than we anticipated with a delayed flight, contacted the owner and got clear instructions how to get in the flat without any problem. Breakfast is simple but adaquate. I would stay here again.

Very clean and convenient place SHARING CLEAN BATHROOM FINE BUT NOT SO APPROPRIATE WITH MODERN DAY LIFE NOT ALL.. OVERALL A VERY VERY VERY PLEASANT PLACE CLOSED TO ALL ACTIVITIES. PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT"SHARING BATHROOM"...A LITTLE SURPRISE

Castilho Guest House currently posted as 3 star.
Recommended as last minute solution but does not excuse the erronius description by Expedia,.. Guest House 3 star including breakfast. The operation was on 3rd floor of a 5 floor building with 8 rooms allocated with bed(s) & 3 small areas defined as shower/toilet areas for sharing by residents/guests. A small area designated as breakfast area with cooker, fridgefreezer, tables etc for communal use. One of the 3 shower/toilet designated units was close to this dining area. In my view this is an example of a new social/communal shared living. There is no reception on ground floor, no natural light as scaffolding is close to windows during extensive refurbishment, drilling beginning @ 8am. I had a booking with 4 star hotel (through Expedia) for the same overnight rate I was charged for the social experiment.! close.
